Inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of Fame in 1996.

Involved in music for over 5 decades, his influence and career was marked by reinvention. I try to show this in the outer ribbon surrounding the portrait, which shows two pink triangles, and direction arrow which when followed shows a continual movement, never stopping. 

During his lifetime his record sales is estimated at 140 million worldwide. 

David Bowie died in 2016 at the age of 69 from liver cancer.
